At the top of the table are the Kolkata Knight Riders who have been exceptionally led by captain Shreyas Iyer. They have had strong performances across all positions and are undoubtedly the team to beat this season. Notably Sunil Narine return to form has taken his batting to an all-time high while maintaining consistent bowling performances.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad also seem to have put their woes in chasing big totals behind them at the right time. Thanks to a fiery fifty by Abhishek Sharma they were able to chase down 215 with ease. With Pat Cummins eyeing another trophy the Sunrisers will face off against the Knight Riders in the playoffs.
